Pattaya is an amazing city that can be found in the truly remarkable country of Thailand. This great city is visited every year by many thousands of tourists from every corner of the world. For many visitors to Pattaya the unbelievable stories of wild nights out and fun that they could only ever dream about, are probably the main reasons why they wish to visit Pattaya City. I do not quite often make a trip out to Pattaya but when I do I usually look for a budget hotel in a quiet central location. Because Pattaya has one big red light district spread out with bars and clubs blaring loud music until 2am. So I am afraid of getting stuck in a room at a hotel that is too close to a bar.

Hey Peter, what kind of bathrooms are there for those cheap places you stay at? Like you, I just need an acceptable bed with no luxury needed. BUt I can't stand eastern squat bathrooms. And I would like the bathroom to be clean. Any suggestions?

So from Pattaya Bus Terminal the songthaew driver will automatically go to Beach Road and from there you should look for Mike's Shopping Mall because that's where you get off. The ride on the Songthaew last around 10 minutes if there's no traffic.
